I read about this on the forum and on the web but the latest was 2007. Is there a way now with revit to create read only .rvt drawings. I have created drafting views of standard details within our design guide and I do not want them to be accidently modified

We have our IT guy set up permissions for our library access so that only limited staff can write to that location. This is your best means of controlling these files.
