Hey everyone,
I have a site of about 4Ha. (10 Acres) with about 20 buildings places on the site. Each of these buildings is an apartment building ranging from 12 to 36 apartments per building. I've managed to speed up the project by placing the internals of each building on a workset that is turned off.
I have a pad under every building as each building has 1 level of basement and I have used a sloped pad as a ramp. I am in the middle of adding the ramps and each time I adjust a pad it's very very slow. No wonder it's a HUGE project really. Even tho we understand it's a huge project would any of you know any optimization tricks to speed up changes to topography?
Thanks for any advice you may have. It seem I'm really pushing revit to it's limits with this project.
Cheers
Scotty V

More worksets that might not even be loaded - not just off.

I would pick the Topo as my main file and link at least 20 separate revit files (Apartments) to my main file. Any time I work one or two files will be loaded. Have always in mind 10-12 tips about reducing revit file size.
Good luck
