I have 1/4 masonry dimension plans but for whatever reason the only steel columns that show are the ones that have been attached to my roof decks. my simple solution is to connect all columns to decking of some sort.
Does anyone know a solution to get my unattached columns to appear otherwise?

Check the "show family precut" value isn't set in the family and whether the representation is from family or from project. Change it to From Project.
