Hi!!

We are drawing our third architectural project in Revit (ver 2012) and this time, we also do interior design. Besides cosntruction plans, sections, views, 3ds and sheets there are now also many more room plans, views etc. It's becoming a mess. We tried to organize it with shared parameter in browser organization. It helps, but the file is getting too big. Can we have a separate interior design plan and link original file to interior design file? Is this the right way to do it? Is thera an alternative?

Thank you very much!

Jernej

You could do these in a linked project... but .... I don't understand your browser problem.  If the project size is manageable, then a good browser organization should work for you.   I just looked at a simple prototype project that has 25 or so folders each with sub folders then views in each sub folder.  Just set up your browser organization and insist that all views must be named (see note) and assigned to the correct folder.  (BTW - USE VIEW TEMPLATES)

NOTE: Remember, Views have to have unique browser names but can be named differently on the sheet - so no browser names like elevation a,b,c - use Room 222 North Elev or similar.  Be specific!
