I tried to create a curved reference plane but clearly that doesnt work.

Is there any quick way to place the purlins along the curved roof using the beam system tool?

I have attached an image showing the curved roof showing exactly where i would like to place the purlins.

Your help would really be appreciated, cheers everyone.
