Hi all,

Ive been using revit since 2008 and have never had this issue before.  My building elevations are displaying transparent dispite being set to Hidden.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Know a fix?  I have checked all the things I can think of; display setting, depth clip, transparency of walls...etc.

Please help.

do you have any dwgs linked in?

I have had this problem from linking consultant backgrounds into my building. I ended up having to explode the dwgs and make sure they were centered(ish) on 0,0

I've seen this issue.  It was related to a corrupt view (usually caused by having lots of items in the Review Warnings).  For me I just recreated the view and copied across the annotation and the new view was fine.  So then just deleted the old corrupt view...

Ok, I deleted the view and recreated it.  That worked for 3 of the 4 elevations.  the 4th view was only fixed after I deleted an inserted DWG.  You were both very helpful.  Thanks.
