I heard that in Revit 2012 you can stop work sharing if you no longer need worksets.  How do you do that?

Open the file detached and the option will be there.

I have opened a file but cannot find a command to remove the worksets.  Can you elaborate?

  1. Start Revit,
  2. Use the Open Project command,
  3. Navigate to your file,
  4. Highlight it,
  5. Select the "Detach from Central" Worksharing Option,
  6. Select Open,
  7. Choose "Detach and discard worksets"
  8. Save File (Worksets now gone)
