Hello,

I am having another problem. This time it is phasing.

When I put a new door in existing wall (so I demolish an opening), I get these wall-door joint lines (marked) in red/dashed manner. I do not want this. I have found out, that these lines belongs to demolished walls as projection lines. I can control them under phasing: DEMOLISHED/PROJECTION LINES. But why is it so? Why can't it belong to EXISTING WALLS/CUT LINES, so I can control them under visibility/graphics overrides and other ways?

Offcourse, I can change them under phasing: DEMOLISHED/PROJECTION LINES, but then other problems arise, like door plan swing lines also change to thick black ones...

Also I cannot use "linework" function, because these marked lines are unselectable. So I am only left with wasting my time and drafting using "detail lines"....

I am using RAC 2011.

Please help and thank you.

You are using the standard doors, supplied with revit. You can of course change or modify these door families, to act like you want. At three posts, my suggestion is don't get too boged down in the finery of the detailing of these. Lots to learn yet.
