I was wondering if anyone could help me in trying to create and/or modify a revit railing in order to achieve something like the image I have attached. (See attachment)

I know only very basics of railing properties, and since this railing I am aiming to create includes curves, I'm not sure how to achieve this.  I've researched the Revit Help / Tutorials and cannot find anything which I believe is informing me enough to be able to create these railings.

The purpose of creating these railings is in order to have consistency with our engineer's drawings.  Since we are showing basic railings in our drawings and he is showing these in his drawings, consequently our drawings conflict each other.

It would also be appreciated if somebody can guide me on creating stair rails similar to that shown in the attachment also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Note: We are currently using Revit 2009.

Just sketch those indiviual rails as individual railings.  I probably would not use the railing tool at all and would do them as either an in-place family or in the family editor.

Thanks WWHub.

We ended up just drawing the railings in 2D and grouping the detail lines and copying them throughout.
