Can anyone tell me where these spots of light are coming from? I've attached a couple renderings, one at "medium" and one at "best". The better one just exaggerates the sports. Any thoughts?

as usual I am my own worst enemy. I posted last week about sun tunnels, in an attempt to bring sunlight in, I made the inside face of the tunnels reflective. They didn't reflect the sunlight but were shooting artificial lights all over the place. No way anyone could of helped me with that.

Try bumping your render quality up to medium or above, if it isn't.   You could also try turning on daylight portals in a custom render quality.   if you're using interior, artifical/sun conditions...  to me, those circles look like light-bouncing light from sun, being so much brighter than artificial by default.   Using daylight portals will make sunlight less splotchy, they say.

Edit:   wow, took me about an hour to remember to hit submit... probably should have refreshed the thread to see if it was resolved before posting.
