Hey guys!

I linked a 3d surveyed topo dwg drawing to revit with the following properties & steps:

1. Unchecked current view only, unit MM, placed at 1st storey.

2. Scale up to 1000.

Now here comes the problems. After I scaled up the imported symbol. I can no longer select the file by just clicking on it nor I can acquire coordinates/ generate toposurface from the imported dwg.

The same method used to work in Revit 2011 but apparently not Revit 2012. Any idea what went wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Chin

I did the same you did and i don't have any problem like that, I can select, I can generate toposurface..... no problem.

Try that in a new project.

I have tried it so many times using different templates/units/3d topo dwg. It still won't work. The problem only occur after I scale it up 1000 times. From then on i can no longer select the import symbol by just clicking on it. I can only drag a box to select the imported symbol and use the move command (MV) to relocate the linked dwg.

I used Revit 2011 following the same steps and using the same files; and it works perfectly. Any idea what could possibly be the problem?
