Revit saves quite a few files in whatever folder I am working in, up to five. Is this normal, surely it only needs to save one or maybe two. Is there a setting to arrange how many I want or is there a reason for this amount.

Yes Coreed the file name is DA-A01 and although I have not created nowhere near this amount of files I have
DA-A01.0069.rvt, DA-A01.0070.rvt, DA-A01.0071.rvt, DA-A01.0069.rvt and DA-A01 in the folder.
I will have a look under options Hub, but at the moment that dialog box open has frozen my Revit.
Thanks folks

That's correct Typhoon. Now next question? why do I need more than one, & can I tell the backup to be backed up to somewhere else, like my back up disk?? But that backs up periodically anyhow, hhmmn.
