We received an updated architectural model from the architect and I went to Manage Links and clicked on the architect's previously loaded, linked model to highlight it. Then like always I clicked "Reload From" and then load the updated architect's model.  When I did this the Manage Links window says the link is loaded but it can't be found in any view. All the arch elements are checked in visisbilty graghics to make them show in view. A fellow worker tried to reload the updated model and received a window on the screen saying the link is loaded but can not be seen. It didn't say why. We are using Revit Structure 2012 and we never had this problem with Revit 2011.

Have you looked in expanded 3D view ZA to see if the model has been moved?

I did expand the 3D view to make sure the arch didn't change the origin. I unloaded the arch model completely from the structural model and then linked it back into the structural model and the models aligned perfectly. I'm in a very early stage of the project but there's no way I can afford to do this later in the game.

Not sure what you are doing but I believe it is a process error - not revit.
