Hi All,

Long time listener, first time call (i.e.noob). Apologies if this has come up before (haven't been successful searching)

I'm trying to create a kitchen family by nesting casework families i've modelled on Blum Kitchen. I've completed base and tall units but have got stuck on upper (wall) units. The built-in Casework Domestic Kitchen Families have Upper Wall Families that are both wall based & not wall based. Which way is correct way to do it?

I have created my Kitchen Family using the Metric Casework Template (not the wall based one) and I can not nest my wall-based upper units into this Kitchen Family.

Should I have a) created my Kitchen family using a wall based template or b) created my upper cabinet NOT using a wall based template or c) Not created a Kitchen "family" at all and just use my Units grouped in my project.

Thanks very much for taking the time to read my first post.

N.

As you have found out, you can not combine these elements into a family but you can group them in a project environment and the group can be transferred project to project.
