I have a reflected ceiling plan legend that has a number of keynotes. After the keynote text description in the same line we put a detail reference tag. At least that is how we did it in CAD. Can something similar be done in revit? I have a few of our standard details imported into drafting views. How do I reference or link them to a reference tag? Thanks, Mark

You can create callouts/sections/elevations and use the reference other view option to select which view you would like to have the reference tag link to... Is this what you're after?

Maybe...lol...Since it is a standard detail it isn't referenced on any floor plan so how can I create a callout for it? I mean I have used the callout tool. But I just want a reference tagonly that I can place in my legend/notes that is linked to a detail that will appear on a standard detail Sorry, I know I'm a noob! Thanks! Mark

Hmm, I don't think you can place view tags in legend views... You can in a drafting view however. Just make sure you have the "reference other view" option ticked (in a drafting view this is on by default). HTH.
