I know I cant control the offsets of the bubbles of a linked in Arch model, other than to make my own and copy/monitor them.

My question is even if I do that, can I have only the bubbles show up on the top and Left side, and not on the bottom or right side?  I dont want to go thru the excercise if it cant be changed even doing it myself.  Is there a control for which ones are visible?

It would be nice if this control was able to be done on the linked in model as well as within the model (assuming it can be done at all)

When you do a CM project, someone should own the grids and the other only CM's them.  Let's say that you CM the grid.  In all linked views, you can simple turn off all linked model annotative elements using the VG settings/Revit Links tab.  That will turn of the linked model's grid.  You can fully control the CM grids in your project.

Ok, so if I can fully controll them, does that mean i can eliminate one or two sides of bubbles as I see fit?

YOU HAVE FULL VISUAL CONTROL -  If you move a CM grid, the arch should get a warning when he manages your update.

NEVER delete the column line when you really only want to move it.
