I am using revit for a contractor and for many of our new projects we receive the revit models as a reference for our use during construction. We recently received a model from the architect that has many linked files (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) but the paths for these links are incorrect so I have had to reload each linked file.
After reloading the files, the 3d view seems to have everything showing, but many of the sheets (Mechanical, structural) that were created by the architect or his designers are blank. By reloading the linked files, did I lose all of those sheets views or is there something I'm not doing that would erase the views in the sheets?
Thanks!

Did you reload or relink? You should only do a reload from and set the proper path.

I clicked "Reload From" and found the new path on my computer. It was set to whatever path the architect was using before so the link error would pop up when I opened the file.

I re-read your post and now understand. You will not see the sheets from the linked files unless you set up views to show those. You typically only link to show model elements.

I don't fully follow your question, did you lose the sheets or the views on the sheets?
Linked sheets from the stru model file will not show up in the Arch model file for printing. You can include the sheet name and number etc of a linked model in the drawing index but not see the actual sheet.
sometimes (in our firm) we create blank sheets to fill out the index of drawings for CAD files. I would check the linked files, see if your missing sheets are in the linked file.

The sheets are there with a titleblock, but there are no views shown on the sheet. I assumed they were lost, but maybe they were just never there on the architectural model and are placeholders like you suggested.
The problem I'm still having is that the designers created multiple files for each section of the building, so a plan view in the contract drawings will have views from multiple files and I'm not sure how to get them all back on there.
Basically, I want to be able to convert all of the project revit sheets into autocad files, but I am missing many sheet views. Is the architect the only one who can see a complete set of revit sheets since all of his links should be correct?

If you have all the files, then open the architect's file, manage the links, and you should see all the sheets he created within that file.

I would contact the Architect and ask them about the missing views on these sheets, let them help you out. They will know more about it than we would.
