Am I missing something?

I'm trying to create a schedule for some equipment and as I set the parameters, I select Discipline > Electrical, and....say what?  Voltage and Phase isn't on the list of units?  Voltage??.....not a part of the Electrical discipline?

Is there a way to add unit types to that drop down menu?

I mean, I can live without it, but it sure seems odd that they would have something like "luminous flux" in the drop down out of the can, but not voltage..

Start a new electrical equipment family and export the voltage and export to your shared parameter file.  Then you can use these in any family.

Read in your HELP: Exporting Shared Parameters to a Shared Parameter File - remember - shared parameters are more than a name.  That's why you need to export this to use it in conjunction with other electrical objects.

Voltage seems to be a system parameter in electrical equipment family.  The Modify Box is dimmed.

So, how would I export it?
