I have a simple set of drawings to print. Cover page ("C-Cover Sheet"), A1-A3. I need to print them all to a single PDF file, but the problem is, when I go to print: I select the "print to single file" option for my cute PDF printer, but when I choose the list of sheets to print, they are all arranged in alphabetical order, so what I get is A1-A3 then the cover page. Is there a way to customize the order? I have been able to align them properly in the project browser by setting up a project parameter called "Index" and assigning a numeric value to the cover sheet equal to 1, and then A1 is assigned 2, etc...

Thank you!

You will probably have to re-order them in a different program.  A different PDF print program might also work.  We use cutepdf and it does the same thing.

It's not your PDF, ist Revit... Has anyone found away to re-order the Sheets in the print set? I'd like to know this too. Whether sent to a PDF writer, or a plotter, it's the same problem.

There is no method of doing this from within Revit.... natively

Use something like Chris Price's (Cadway) add on to manage your output.

I worked around this by renaming my sheets so that the cover page was "A0". If you have several groups, such as Arch, Mech, Struct, and Elec, I think you can group them and assign them in saved sets under the publish option (or print? don't have Revit on the computer I'm posting this from, so can't check, sorry). So when you go to publish (or print) you can choose a preset list of sheets, defined by you, from a dropdown list to publish/print. There are free programs (or trials, think I've used nitroPDF or something) you can get to rearrange or parse the sheets you don't want from the set you print, or print your sheet sets separately to PDF and combine.
