Our firm is using Revit to model a renovation, and though some of the consultants are also using Revit, others are still in ACAD.  When we receive plans from the ACAD users, some-- but not all-- of some door types have the Revit doors (4'-0" wide) along with a 3'-0" door centered inside the leaf and matching configuration.  This happens with single doors and with single swinging doors (which we're using to indicate emergency breakout).  It doesn't happen in all of the doors of these two type, just some here or there, and it is consistent in independent consultants' plans.

Looking in the ACAD floor plan we make for them these doors aren't on a frozen layer or turned off.  And if they were nested objects they should show in all of the doors of a given type, size, and orientation.  Likewise, they are not doors on top of doors-- I tried erasing these doors in the Revit model and tried showing hidden objects and erasing the doors.  No doors are left when I do that, hidden or not.

Any thoughts?  Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Taking you at your word that you have identical types acting differently.

Is there possibly a phase issue where these might end up on different layers?

... or posibly have been over-ridden VG in the exporting view?

I don't think worksets would make a difference but I would still check them.
