I thought I had the view range concept down, apparently I do not. Where am I going wrong here.
- File>New> Select Residential Default template that came with demo
- Build Floor> 4" concrete slab (Level:First Floor, Height Offset:0")
- Sketch in a rectangle, select finish sketch
- Hmmm. The outline and texture is showing up on the floor plan. Suppose I do not want it to.
- Check to make sure underlay is set to none.
- Edit view range> Set bottom and view depth to +1', so it should be well above the 4" slab.
- Still showing, set both to +2', nope, +3' nope, +4', finally it turns off at +4'
- At this height, cabinets and bathtubs would not be displaying. Why will not the slab edge and texture only turn off when I am +4' above it with the view range?

If you don't want to see the texture of the concrete turn it off in the materials properties.
