This may not be able to be done, but I figured I'd ask before giving up. I'm trying to change the material properties for this tub- http://www.revitcity.com/downloads.php?action=view&object_id=1234- but can't seem to figure out how to get the materials to apply. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

...or if there's some kind of workaround. I've noticed this is the case with alot of the kohler-type masses.

First, this was not created by Kohler but by one of the founders of RC long before these objects were available from the manufacturer.

Second, this is not a mass.  The family is plumbing category, not mass and the element itself is an imported DXF in the family.  As such, it works just like any imported CAD geometry and the materials are assigned by layers.  Attched is an image of the object styles that controls the render apperance of this tub.
