Hi,

I'm new to the Revit community, I just started using Revit over the summer. I am adding in a park bench for my rendering but I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to roate the " park bench" so that it is completely flat on the ground surface. Any suggestions? Tks.

A picture would help I think.  When you say flat, do you mean... parallel to the ground plane?  Because the bench should be flat already, unless your active work plane is some sort of skewed reference plane you've made.

are you maybe using a face based component which is hosted by a sloped toposurface, isn't this ideal? if you want it flat, try placing a new one but change the Placement option to 'Work Plane' and select a flat workplane in the model.

Hi!

I attached a jpeg of the file I am working on. As you can see the bench it "upwards", instead of laying flat against the side walk. I am working in the regular views like plan 1 etc. What do you think. I tired moving it, rotating it , but nothing works, it just remains upwards... Thanks....

As you have been told, If this is a face based family, pick a different host.  Try it in a different project.

You have to rotate it within the family, just rotate it in an elevation
