Hi there - I have built a sofa and cushions and am please with them so far, but I want to push them further. They are all a little uniform and 'perfect' looking, which sofa's are not. I want to create some kind of surface texture, dimples on the cushions, etc to give it a bit more of a realistic look.

Does anyone know what I could do? The only thing I could think of was to create a whole lot of voids and then to scatter them everywhere to create a more 'wrinkled' effect. It would be ideal if I could do this some other way that wasn't so time consuming though!

Any ideas welcome - thank you

And here is an image with the cushions - I need to render this sofa in a plain fabric soon, which will accentuate it's perfect lines etc more, which is what I want to avoid...

Revit does not do well with "soft" forms.  Good luck if you continue to try with it but I think soft forms are best done in other programs.

I would give the material a large, grotesque, and wrinkly bump image.  That might give it a special something.
