To The Community,
My company is in the process of implementing Revit Architecture/Revit Structure, to integrate our project work. As such, we are feeling our way tentatively through the stages of adopting the best arrangements to maximise the great benefits of employing these packages.
The question at the moment is this:- what is the best software - if not Revit - to accurately quantify the materials and produce a Schedule/Bill of Quantities from which to work? I have been hearing that the reporting from Revit in this regard is not so good, and at this stage of its development it would be best to assess the model for these purposes through another package.
If anyone has specific experience of this stage of implementing Revit, or can provide any valuable insight or advice, I would be most indebted for your comments.
