I've got a master file into which several separate building files are being linked into.  The intention is to minimize the size of the master file by not having all the buildings in it.  Also if modifications have to be made, the resulting workload is not astronomical and potentially corrupting, e.g. having to say move or rotate a building and all its associated noting sections callouts etc.

The buildings i've brought in show the rooms and the tags, but i can't get the rooms to schedule.  I can get the doors to but not the rooms for some reason.  Thoughts?

Thanks,

Dan

In your room schedule, did you check to box to include the linked model?

Read this chapter in your HELP:>  Including Elements from Linked Models in a Schedule

I didn't and i realized the error of not having done that after i posted my comment, however, when i searched thru revit city, i couldn't find an answer, it was only when i searched google that i found it on another site.  so now maybe when someone searches revit city for an answer, they'll see these posts and know they need to click in the room schedule properties window > Fields "Include elements in linked files"

That cleared up the problem.  THANKS!
