I already set up my sheets.  I have both 8.5x11 and 36x24... However... I dont think it's printing to scale...What am I doing wrong?

First, your titleblock should have a boundary that is exactly the size (or a factor of) you sheet of paper, to keep things organized.  This will help revit see the extents of the sheet and position it on the physical page.   It will also not print, being at the absolute margins.

Next -- make sure your scaling is set to 100%.

Print extents.  Center or offset 0 from margin.

Should work fine!  If there seems to be a miscommunication with your printer and revit, try printing to PDF first, and then from PDF to printer, and see if that exposes the problem.  May also suffice as a work-around.

I am having this same problem, and I noticed that my 30x42 border, which revit drew automatically when making the titleblock, prints about an inch from the edge of the paper, when it shouldn't print at all. Not sure what is going on but it is throwing my scale off on everything.

Is this sheet limit line an invisible line as it should be?

Make sure in the setup dialog box you are selecting zoom to 100% instead fit to page.

It happened to me, and I realized i was using fit to page. As soon as I changed it to zoom 100% it worked.

Hey all- this is a really common problem- so common that I am sharing a video I made about it that my students (and others) find useful. Enjoy!
