Working currently on a Sprinkler plan and in the 3D view, when I window select each drop has 4 pieces, but in the Ceiling plan when I window select, it only shows 3 pieces. I found out that the pipe transition wasn't being selected in the ceiling plan. Is there a setting that controls this, or what is the reason for this? It selects the pipe, the pipe fittiing and the sprinkler, but not the pipe transition. Very confused.
Also, is there any way to add a sprinkler head to an existing pipe drop so that it connect to it. I can add it so it looks like it connects to it, but it is not part of the system and doesnt move with it. For me to make that happen, I have to add the head, then delete the pipe fiting and pipe, connect the two pipe mains to close up the gap left by removing the pipe fitting, then select the sprinkler and select "conect into" command to connect it to the pipe main. The problem is I have 100,000 sf done with pipe drops, figuring I can add the sprinkler heads later, but that doesnt want to work for me.
