Hi, all!

I am having an issue here, it's not quite about revit itself (but i'm working on the project using revit architecture 2010), but more about architectural detailing.

In my case i want to embed the lower horizontal curtain wall mullion below the visible area between sloped concrete slab and ground floor. Furthermore, I want the top of my mullion to be at the level of ground floor, so it is unexposed from exteriors and interiors. My problem is - what to do with the vapour and damp and how should i deal with the run-off waters? Is it  possible at all to embed a curtain wall frame?

I have googled this issuae for a solution but found nothing. Maybe some of you have already had an experience with such joints. Any help will be apreciated!

I will attach a sketch to make the idea clear.

Thanks in advance.

Antons

Very bad idea for the reasons you are questioning.  How do you handle the water? ... yet alone how to you actually install it?

If you want this knd of look, then you need a different system.

You don't say what climate you are in but I see insulation to a depth indicating freezing conditions.  I think you should reconsider your design.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, this is for a cold climate (northern europe).

OK, I probably need a different system. What systems could be applied to achieve this kind of look? Any ideas?
