Hi all!The title pretty much explains the extents of my problem - when plotting halftone linetypes to our KIP3000 we are getting sort of hatched/"fuzzy" patterned lines instead of crisp clean lines that are grey in color. If I select "replace halftones with thin lines" in the print setup all lines print crisp - but monotone black which makes it difficult to differentiate between our drawn elements and the architect's linked model. Supposedly this has never been an issue and my boss assures me that halftones have been printed from this plotter before I started working here, but I have experienced this issue since day 1. I am getting the same result with rvt, dwg, and dwf file formats from both Revit MEP 2011 and Autocad MEP 2011 (and I'm guessing it'd do the same if I were to print a Word document with grey text). I have checked the KIP3000 printing preferences and the only option I was unsure of the setting is the output format - should this be KIPGL or KIPScript? (currently KIPScript) Could this be causing my problem? I am at a loss for ideas as to what the problem could be. It can't be an issue with the actual program files because they print perfectly fine in full greyscale with NO fuzzy lines to our Konica Minolta C250 - but I can not print the paper sizes necessary on this. Any help what-so-ever would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You wouldnt by chance have anything hidden that is corresponding with the fuzzy layers. I ran into the same condition and determined it was due to my hidden .jpeg of a GIS image for the property that I use for setbacks.
