Is there a way to have Revit produce a "Responsibility Schedule?"

Could you expand on what you are asking?

HUB

A "Responsibility Schedule" would be a marix of project fnctions (i.e. framing, foundatio, glazing, etc.) matching the parties responsible for performing the work (i.e. general contractor, owner, client, subcontractor, etc.)

My thinking is these functions and people could be set up in the description of the various parts of the building as in BIM.

Am I close?

Thanks for your kind assistance in this regard.

OK... so are you trying to assign these by Revit model elements?

  1. If so, you can just add a shared parameter to all categories and then schedule it.
  2. If not, then it is just a "dumb" chart and can be done using a schedule key using a category that is not in your part of the project.
