Hey guys I am attempting to learn 3Ds max. When i imported my file into max and attempted to render it did not know where to go to find the materials (stored on my flash drive).... can you guys tell me how to tell it to find the materials? also, can I alter the materials in max if they are already specified from revit?
thanks,
Matt

Hit the M button, then with the eyedrop pick faces in the model, that will bring the materials applied to that face.
And yes, you can alter the materials inside max, i used to replace them with MR materials (arch&design materials)
