I am working on a multi-level project, where levels range from -2 to +6 ft.  The overall floor plan was created as one view and then walls and floors were manipulated to show different floor levels and we are now having a difficult/impossible time placing objects in our model.  We are discovering that what we should have done is split these different levels into different views at the beginning, much like you would in a multi-story project.  Is there any way to correct this problem now without losing the information/drawings we have generated thus far?

If you have different levels created, which you should have, then you can create new plans correctly from these levels.  Now open you in-correct level view, copy all annotative elements to clipboard, switch to the correct plan and paste aligned current view.  (Or same place)

Now you can correctly add model elements on the correct levels.

Thanks.  That is encouraging.  I am fairly new to setting up drawings, can you tell me the best way to take a level and turn it into a plan view?

Also look at plan region in your help. This will give you an overall floor plan that will allow you to view the differing floors, it allows you do adjust the view depths of different areas of your plan.
