Hi all,

I’m trying to rotate an elevation's view name while leaving the view tag in place. I’m working with 2010 and it seems there is no way to create a new elevation tag family . I also checked the setting for the view name in the setting dropdown menu but couldn’t find anything . suggestions, anyone?

You do know that you can rotate the view on a sheet and the tag rotates with it?

Of course - I'm trying to rotate only the elevation view name, not the view itself.

So your view text is normal with the sheet and the title is not?  <<< That is strange.

If you are not concerned with the the above.... then you would have to create a different view title family type.

OTHERWISE - The answer was given in my initial response if you think about it.

We sure were not.  I was talking about view title, not the view call-out.

Sorry, you would have to create a spectial view call-out tag to do this.  We use numbers only and don't include the view name for this reason .... and others.  Just no room in most cases.
