I have an existing door I am trying to model. In 30 locations in the building where the opening has the same profile that wraps the opening. In two locations the 7" profile is modified to a 5" profile. (see attached) Is there a way to get the profiles to blend at the mitre? I would like to find a quick easy way, as opposed to make the sweep out of three different profiles.

Using Revit Arch 2011

You want two differnt profiles to miter at 45 ?  Can't be done in real life or revit.

You can't have 3 different profiles in a sweep.

.....Or did you mean three diiferent sweeps?using 3 different profiles?  Seems to me that would be simple to do with a family.

the profile has three similar components (in real life) the outer and inner bands are identical the filler blocking is variable.  I like the idea of doing the entire profile as a nested family! then I can control the variable instance of the blocking filler.

thanks for the help, I'll let you know if it works!

I was able to get the trim to flex the way I needed it. It looks great in elevation/hiddenline. However, I can't get it to respond to material selection, or to cut properly in Plan View.
