Wanted to know if there is a way for the subregion outline to be shown on floor plans without going over it with detail lines?  It is to show the driveway outline.

Topography is probably turned off in VG... but... how are you drawing over it with detail lines if it's not showing in view?  I'm not sure I understand.

Sorry what I was going to do was use detail lines first then trace over it with subregion.  But the problem is then I have to copy over to each floor plan view to show the outline of the driveway as the subregion wont show only detail lines.  I was hoping there would be a way for the subregion outline to show up on floor plans.

Well, you have a couple of options.  You can set the driveway level as an underlay for your other levels, or, you can create a "plan region" on your sheets.

A plan region in a little region with a diferent view/cut depth than the rest of the sheet.  If it touches the topo, all of the topo will be grought into your view.  This would be my suggestion. Plan regions are under view-->Plan views-->plan region.

OR, you can just modify your views to have a low view range, if it doesn't bother you to see everything below the cut plane.  The view range button is in the properties bar under extents.
