When copying elements from one revit model to another, I apparently don't get the option to "Paste aligned from current view".  However, I notice that the elements tentatively show up as blue dashed lines in the exact spot anyway but there is no way to click a button to accept the tentative location; is there?

Once you click on the screen the elements move to the clicked location.  Instead I deliberately move the elements a few feet away before pasting, then try to move the elements back in the correct spot.  Pretty tedious.

I have noticed the same tedious hangup. Unforutnately I have not yet found a workaround myself or online anywhere. I'm guessing the "move and place" method you (and I) are currently using is the "correct" method - although it would seem beneficial to just have an "accept placement" command as you stated. Best of luck! If you've come up with any other solutions I would love to hear them! - Kcaparella
