I've created a valve family; nested inside is a 2D plan view symbol which also contains a masking region to maks the pipe ends since the designer did not want the 2D symbol to scale with the 3D components for printing purposes. In 2011 the masking region worked just fine to mask the pipe ends in wireframe view, but in 2012, the masking region only masks the pipe ends in hidden line view. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or have they changed the way masking regions work in 2012?
I tried making a separate masking region family and nesting that into the valve family along with the 2D symbol family, and that did not make a difference.
