Hi Guys,
I'm currently working on 14 townhouses in Revit 8.1.
Seven of the 2 storey plans will be identical internally just mirrored and floor RL differences.
Obviously I'd like to have one unit drawn to the exact detail and be able to clone it for the remainder of the units, updating only one unit. (Not that the client will make any changes of course!).
My plan was to draw the two level unit with all internal walls, joinery and floor coverings. I would than link or group these to the final building then draw in the roof, fire separation walls & external walls (as these will have different claddings & windows etc.) What do you think the best way to go would be? Can I have different floor RL'S if I group it? Obviously high rise buidings must get around this problem with a simple solution. Cheers, any input would be appreciated.**********************************************************************************************************************************Few hours later---------Problem resolved: Grouping worked a treat.
