Hi all how do i change my user name

in 2010-11 & 12 select the R-> Options -> General Tab -> Username

2009 and before ,if I remember right: File -> Options -> General Tab -> Username (but I am not 100% for sure)

and if you feel adventures, in the INI file, I don't recommend but you can.

if you mean your Revit City user name... you can't; I tried before and the admin said I'd have to create a new account.

Many people in the forums develop a familiarity with poster's usernames. To facilitate this continuity in the forums, as well as for some technical reasons in the database, usernames cannot be changed. It is possible however to register with a different email address if you must have a different username.
