I am starting to get my feet wet with the API

In the Help Menu I am reading about the NewWallMethod and it gives me 5 choices in the Overload List.

In the description I have "non rectangular profile" and "new rectangular profile"...  What does this mean?

What does "rectangular" mean here?

Thanks
