Im making a loading truck ramp and I need to show the elevation but the elevation tool will not accept on the ramp but it will work on the floor. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

That is correct in plan views.  In elevation and section, the spot elevation will work for ramps. 

 

NOTE:  You can slope a floor and it will show the spot elevations in plan.

Some people here laugh because I am always pushing the HELP but I do so because it has good explanations and figures.  Search the HELP using < floor slope > and you will find: Creating a Sloped Surface Using a Slope Arrow.  That explains the process very well.
