Okay here is a new one.,maybe..a fellow who is not here today created a titleblock sheet for our plans. Where can I go in Rev 2009 to turn off the Architects stamp. I have no idea how he put it on the titleblock. is there a place I can hide it throughout every sheet?

We have a visibility parameter setup for stamps. Click on the titleblock and check if there are any checkboxes for the stamp in its properties. If its not there, click 'edit type' and see if there is a Type parameter for visibility. If its not there, hit 'edit family' and remove it all together (or create your own visibility parameter) and reload the title block family. Just don't save over the original titleblock file.
