I have looked and cant find a batch converter utiliy for Revit 2012, specifically for MEP, but not sure if discpln matters.

Where could one find the converter to do batch processing of converting older files to 2012?

You would think it would be prominent on the website or on the DVD?

There is a utility called revit 2012 upgrader avaliable now (I think it is on subcription site or autodesk labs) that does the same thing.

From an upgrading standpoint, no the discipline does not matter...all Revit families can be upgraded.

With that said, regarding MEP content it is important to note that the factory generally focuses on a specific portion of MPE per release. 2012 was piping, 2011 was electrical and 2010 was mechanical.

This is important to know because they may make changes to the content and in particular, the MEP connectors.

In 2011 some of the properties of the electrical content became less restrictive or had more options added and we noticed that during the upgrade process...all prior content did NOT get these enhancements.

What we had to do then was after the batch upgrade was remake out electrical connections.

Where is the utility to use to batch convert located?  I searched the subscription center area and couldn't find it.

It is on the DVD...you can find it by using explorer and browsing to a folder called Utilities

It should also be available on Autodesk Labs...just search for file upgrader for revit 2012
