Hello All,
Is it possible tot alter the way 2 joined roofs, join? Like you can adjust wall joins? The problem can be seen in the attached drawing. I would like the different layers of the roof to all join eachother, so that a nice corner is visible.
Thanks!

Those "Layers" must have the same "Function" and the same "Material name" to join like you want.

Thanks,
these roofs are exactly the same. That's wy I was surprised too. Workaround; I didn't use the dormer function, but drew 2 roofs through eachother, and both cut them with a verticall roof opening. Works ok.

Hallo,
The workaround is not accurate all the time, so maybe in the meantime there's a solution to my original question? Another screenshot of 2 roofs (same rooftype) created with "join roofs" and the "dormer' commands.
Help!

Hmm yes. But a lot of work (just tried) and as soon as my view range changes, I need to do it again. (in my example: 4 corners, makes 8 joins, with 4 layers = use the cut profile tool 32 times....)
Is there a specific reason why roof layers don't act as nice as wall layers?

Layers: (although playing with functions and boundary didn't make any difference...)
