This is one of those minor annoyances that bothers me every day. I am hoping it is a simple fix.
Revit Architecture 2011 - I edit my keyboard shortcuts through the internal editor and it works fine during that session. Once I exit, all of my edits are lost. Revit is creating the xml file on my drive when I make the changes. I have checked the xml file outside of Revit to make sure the changes are there...they are. I tried importing the file in Revit and none of the shortcuts change...tried overwriting and merging both without success.
It is like Revit is not seeing the xml file. I tried placing the xml file in multiple locations both on our network and different folders on my drive including the default path for user files.
I searched the eight pages of postings on "keyboard shortcuts" with no luck.
Any thoughts?
