I am using Revit Architecture 2011. We had an outside firm set up our office template and default schedules. When creating my door families the "materials" and "types" parameters are not coming up in the schedules automatically. I have the option to enter this data for each cell within the schedule, but if I already have this save with the family why doesnt that info present itself once the family is loaded in the project?

I would love to be able to change the instance of the data, but at least have the default load itself automatically.

I have the feeling that the template settings are overriding the default family settings.
