Hi Forum,i see all the posts telling me i can copy/paste Legends from one open Project to another, but I nor anyone in my office can do it. Weve tried copy/paste, group then copy/paste, and everythuign else. We cant seem to paste when we get to the 2nd project.scales are similar.is there anything else keeping us from pasting...?

You do not actually copy the legend, you copy every thing in it from the existing legend view into a new legend in your new file.

thanks WWHub,i found my problem. i had 2 sessions open, not 2 Projects in 1 session. You cant copy from 1 session to another but I can confirm you can easily copy from 1 Project to another from within 1 session :0)

If you want to be able to more easily copy notes between projects set them up as drafting views. You can click on the name of the drafting view and copy to clipboard then past to clipboard in another project. The only problem with drafting views is you cannot have a drafting view on more than one sheet.

You can also use the "Insert View" option, to select bulk views, schedules and sheets to copy from one project to another...
