my current window (slider with trim) tags they "type" into the little hexagon tag, instead of placing the simple instance number (ie. window no: 1,2,3,4,etc..) how do I edit the familly to show the number not the type?

Hello Warchitect,

From what I understand you want to change it so each window has a tag that corresponds with its individual number.  To accomplish this:

1. Click on one of the hexagon tags you want to change

2. Click 'Edit Family' on the ribbon above and it should open the editor

3. Click on the tag again in this new window and click on 'Edit Label'

4. Remove the 'Type Mark' Parameter Name and replace it with just 'Mark'

5. Click OK to finish editing then load it back into the original project with 'Load into Project'

That should give each window a unique number. Tell me if that works for ya.
