When I render my model my brick looks like it has a stone pattern.  The hatch pattern selected is the generic brick.  Please help!  Any other tips would be greatly appreciated....this is my first time working with revit.  Please note that the screened porch and a few other various issues have been cleared up since this rendering.

I am also trying to figure out why the brick color looks so light?

the render apearance has little to do with the hatch pattern -- except it's orientation. 

When you go to the material manager, there is a tab for each material called "render apearance" and you have a library full of jpgs that you can assign to different materials.  In most cases, this has to be done manually.  You can scale these render materials, give them bump patterns, and more. 

But again, in most cases, you have to manually tell revit what render material goes with a material.  Many are just default gray, and it looks like your brick material is masonry, rock, or some other incorrect material.

Looks like your rendering at a very low density setting. Needs higher density to get a good look. May take awhile to render properly.
